Washington:

So, I dropped out of school and moved back to Washington. I'm very proud of myself. Now I just have to find a job. Or a place to live in Seattle. Or both?

I pick both.

Then I need to actually get accepted to UW. But that's kind of out of my hands at the moment.

Other assorted news:

1. Freezing fog is scary, especially in the dead of night, and descending from atop the Blue Mountains. And when I say "scary" I mean, crazy-exciting.

2. Christmas-time tastes absolutely delicious. I'm just saying...

3. Blu-rays are the most beautiful things I've ever seen.

4. I am the proud new owner of a Pirate music CD.

Holy week before finals, Batman!

Packing (part 2):

I just got rid of all of my boxes. Now I have nothing to keep myself entertained with, besides textbooks and my computer. Which is probably a good thing. I kind of don't have time to do anything besides homework for the next few weeks.

Other updates:

1. In the last week I've eaten at In-N-Out Burger three times and Five Guys Burgers once. I'm pretty sure that during the week I've consumed a month's worth of saturated fat, but that's okay. (Hands down, Five Guys beats In-N-Out.)

2. I finished my last paper for the semester (not counting the final for my Philosophy paper, which should be pretty straight forward and only take a few hours of typing to hammer out), and it feels great.

3. I don't have to read my textbook for Psychology ever again. As much as I love Psychology, I don't think I'm going to miss reading the over a hundred pages in less a week, every other week.

4. I love Thanksgiving.

Packing:

Yeah, it's kind of weird. But, all my of my stuff is going back to Washington at the end of the week. So, I get to spend the evening packing...

Philosophy:

I love my Philosophy class. Partially because, while doing reading for Philosophy, I have to take notes so that I can understand what I'm reading well enough to write papers on what I've read, and I end up writing things like:

"Essence is in substance, primarily, but can be said to be in things without substance in a sense"

Did you get that?

Done:

I finally got everything for my UW application taken care of. Now I just have to sit and wait for a letter to come in the mail (which won't happen for a few more months). In the meantime, I'm going to have to find a new activity for my Friday and Saturday nights....
