So, apparently my roommates don't believe in going on dates with girls "just for fun." In fact, I was informed by one of them that he considers it "prostitution within the bounds of the law of chastity." He also claimed that any boy willing to go on a dates with girls just-for-fun is a man-whore. (He was being dead serious, too.)
I don't even know how to respond to that.
Did you make it clear that the "fun" in "just for fun" doesn't include making out?

ReplyDeleteNo, he definitely, honestly believes that it's a sin to go on a "non-productive" date. (Non-productive = no reasonable chance that you might possibly eventually marry your date.)
