Pete and Pete:

The Adventures of Pete and Pete is the essence of my childhood. If ever there was a childhood memory worth remembering, the embodiment of that memory can be found, somewhere, in a Pete and Pete episode. The show is just that epically 90's.

Somewhere, in the rapidly changing images and the mellow, indie background music glimmers the shadow of a younger me, dancing among the pixels and sound waves. As a child, my perception of reality was permanently shaped by every plot line and every stereotypical, yet absurdly over the top, character. That show, in many ways, became the subscript to my life.

Big Pete continues to be a voice of reason, calling for a return to the things that matter most in life. The lessons he taught all of us, as children in the 90's, will reverberate through us into eternity.
